A 21-year-old woman from Moose Jaw is dead after a vehicle-pedestrian crash Wednesday on the Trans-Canada Highway near that city.
According to the RCMP, officers responded at about 6 p.m., to a call of the collision just east of Moose Jaw.
The woman, who was struck on the highway’s eastbound lanes, was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorists involved remained at the scene of the crash.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed during the investigation, but have reopened. The Moose Jaw RCMP and a Saskatchewan RCMP traffic reconstructionist are continuing to look into the crash.
