Poor driving conditions on Saskatchewan highways from the winter storm may have been a factor in a serious crash west of Saskatoon on Wednesday.
STARS Air Ambulance was dispatched to Highway 7 at the Laura junction shortly before 10 a.m..
Dino Robert, who was stopped on the highway, told 650 CKOM the crash involved two semi trucks.
Robert said traffic was being detoured, but drivers were told to expect delays in both directions.
The RCMP says the driver of one semi truck was taken by STARS Air Ambulance to hospital, but injuries were not life-threatening.
As of noon, the trucks were being cleared from the scene, and the area was to open up to traffic shortly.
