Both the Saskatoon Hilltops and Regina Thunder improved their records on Sunday.
The Hilltops secured a 34-20 win over the Edmonton Huskies at SMF Field, improving the Toppers’ record to 4-2 on the year.
The Hilltops now head to a bye week before welcoming the Edmonton Wildcats on Oct. 17.
Speaking of the Wildcats, the team travelled to Regina for a matchup with the undefeated Thunder on Sunday afternoon.
The Thunder jumped out to a quick lead, stretching it to 41-0 heading to halftime.
Regina added a field goal in the second half on route to a 44-17 victory.
Regina is also heading into a bye week before a matchup with the Huskies in Edmonton.
