10:00 – A lengthy murder trial unfolding in Saskatoon has a unique element – the body of the alleged victim has never been located. Greg Fertuck, 67, is accused of the first-degree murder of his estranged wife Sheree Fertuck in 2015. Tad DiBiase is a former US Attorney, author of ‘No-Body Homicide Cases: A Practical Guide to Investigating, Prosecuting and Winning Cases When the Victim is Missing,’ and one of the world’s experts on such cases, and he joins Gormley to discuss why alleged murders are so difficult to prosecute in the absence of a body, and some of the elements that can make a murder case even without the evidence of human remains.

Meewasin is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving the cultural and natural resources of the South Saskatchewan River Valley in Saskatoon and the surrounding area including stewardship of over 67 sq/km and 90 km of public trail. Meewasin relies on public donations and volunteer efforts to continue their work, and CEO Andrea Lafond joins Gormley to tell us more.
