A bale fire Friday night caused traffic restrictions in Saskatoon’s west end.
Eastbound lanes onto 11th Street West from Highway 7 were closed for several hours as firefighters battled the blaze at a nearby acreage, Saskatoon police said in a media release.
While officials haven’t announced what started the fire, police said it appeared a large number of bales were set on fire.
In a statement police say no buildings or structures were damaged.
Traffic restrictions were lifted just before 8 a.m. Saturday.
