A Saskatchewan man is dead after an assault in a Lloydminister park.
Alberta RCMP’s Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are investigating the homicide, which happened around 3 a.m. Saturday.
Lloydminister Fire Department and AHS ground ambulance responded to the park, near 44 Street and 42 Avenue, and located the victim. He was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday, Revor Owen Tootoosis of Paynton, Sask. died from his injuries in hospital.
In a Tuesday press release, RCMP said an update will be provided when available.
