8:30 – The Saskatchewan Government announced good news for those residing or with family members in long-term care and personal care homes. Beginning May 30, all residents of long-term care and personal care homes will be permitted unlimited visitors, two at a time, indoors. Seniors Minister Everett Hindley says “very difficult decisions were made” to keep residents and staff safe during the pandemic, but due to Saskatchewan’s surging vaccination rates restrictions can soon be relaxed. Hindley joins Gormley to tell us more.
