I was taken a bit by surprise by the language used by Premier Scott Moe and Minister Jeremy Harrison on Friday when they were saying the words “fill” and “full” with regards to Mosaic Stadium.
So much for the dimmer switch to turning the province back on. But I also appreciate they’re trying their best to convince us to get vaccinated so we can have such things as a full Mosaic.
The thought of 33,000 people heading to Mosaic is weird for some to process. For a year, we’ve kept our distance at grocery stores and even close family events like weddings and funerals. Now you want me to sit next to a stranger at a football game for three hours?
The responses I received to my question of how you’d feel about a “full” Mosaic were mixed between those who’ve been willing to go to a full stadium during the height of the pandemic to those excited to get back to normal to those asking for proof of vaccinations to those who are a hard no.
I’m just thankful having fans back and the CFL back and a bit of normal back appear closer and closer by the day and by each and every vaccination.
