8:30 – Students will be back in classrooms today, but the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation is continuing to call for online learning and increased COVID-19 measures, even if it means short-term challenges. Education Minister Dustin Duncan joins Gormley with an update on the situation in Saskatchewan’s schools, and to share his thoughts on the teachers’ union’s calls for online schooling to continue.

Dr. Jake Pushie, who usually studies strokes at the College of Medicine’s Saskatchewan Cerebrovascular centre, has now turned his attention to COVID research, and he joins Gormley to share what they’ve learned so far.
