There’s more options to get a COVID-19 shot in Saskatchewan with the re-opening of drive-thru clinics across the province.
Drive-thru clinics opened Friday in Prince Albert, Lloydminster and North Battleford.
Saskatoon’s clinic at Prairieland Park re-opened Saturday morning to a massive line-up. It stretched several kilometres with wait times upwards of six-hours according to the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s website.
More clinics are scheduled to re-open Sunday in Regina, Moose Jaw and Swift Current and continue into next week depending on vaccine supplies.
All drive-thru and walk-in clinics are first-come, first serve.
The eligibiliy age dropped to 40 years and older on Friday. It’s also available to anyone 30 and older in the north, as well as front-line health care-workers, first responders, correctional staff, public health inspectors, teachers and daycare staff at facilities attached to schools.
