The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Tuesday the signing of former NFL receiver Tevin Jones.
The 28-year-old product of Amory, Miss., spent five seasons in the NFL, making stops with the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder played five regular-season games with the Cowboys in 2019, recording four catches for 61 yards.
Jones attended the University of Memphis, catching 90 passes for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns in 51 games. He also played on special teams, recording five tackles, blocking two punts and returning one punt for a touchdown.
The Roughriders also announced they have released American offensive lineman Chidi Okeke.
