8:30 – The CFL has pushed back its 2021 start date to August 5, almost two months back from the planned start date of June 10. The league, which has struggled during the COVID-19 pandemic and wasn’t able to arrange a season in 2020, is now aiming to play this year’s Grey Cup on Dec. 12 in Hamilton. Commissioner Randy Ambrosie says “We will play football in 2021,” but the new start date comes with a number of caveats attached. We’re putting the question to you in one of Gormley’s patented Reality Checks: Will the Riders play in 2021? Call 1-877-332-8255 and add your voice to our poll.

9:00 – Bugs Day, the Hour of Rage!
10:00 – When it comes to Earth Day, can you separate the climate facts from the misconceptions and deceptions? In his recent book “Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom,” environmental activist and co-founder of Greenpeace Patrick Moore debunks “misinformation and lies” put forward by some environmentalists. Moore says most of the scare stories we hear about the future of the planet are based on things the average person cannot observe for themselves, like CO2 and radiation, meaning the public must trust the media, politicians, and scientists to tell them the truth. Moore joins Gormley to tell us about the most common climate myths and why they’re perpetuated.
