HALIFAX — Charlottetown Islanders goalie Colten Ellis made 23 saves as his team earned a 3-0 victory over the Halifax Mooseheads at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax Saturday.
Brett Budgell, Noah Laaouan and Drew Elliott each scored a goal to give the Islanders (16-4-0-0) the win.
Mooseheads goalie Alexis Gravel fought off more rubber than Ellis, but lost. Gravel made 36 saves for Halifax (8-11-2-3).
PHOENIX 4 CATARACTES 2
SHERBROOKE, Que. — Milo Roelens scored twice in a 4-2 Sherbrooke Phoenix win over the Shawinigan Cataractes at the Centre Gervais Auto in Sherbrooke Saturday. Samuel Hlavaj made 31 saves for the Phoenix while Charles-Antoine Lavallee made 33 saves in a losing effort for the Cataractes.
HUSKIES 3 VOLTIGUEURS 2 (OT)
ROUYN-NORANDA, Que.— Edouard St-Laurent scored the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies a 3-2 overtime win over the Drummondville Voltigueurs Saturday night. William Dufour scored two goals for Drummondville, giving them a 2-0 lead. But the Voltigueurs allowed three unanswered goals, including the overtime goal, en route to a loss.

QUEBEC CITY, Que. — Cole Cormier and Mikael Huchette each scored twice to give the Quebec Remparts a 5-2 victory over the Gatineau Olympiques in Quebec City Saturday. Thomas Caron also scored for Quebec. Metis Roelens and Andrew Coxhead scored for Gatineau.
FOREURS 6 ARMADA 4
SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Justin Robidas scored a pair of goals to give the Val D’Or Foreurs a 6-4 win over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada Saturday night. The Foreurs raced out a to 3-1 lead before the Armada scored three unanswered goals to lead 4-3. The Armada then allowed three goals from the Foreurs in the third period. Simon Pinard also scored twice for the Armada.
