A 35-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges including sexual assault and sexual interference in connection with incidents that date back to January of 2016.
In a media release Wednesday, the Saskatoon Police Service said its Child Abuse Unit had concluded its investigation into allegations the man had sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl. He also was accused of physically and sexually assaulting a 37-year-old woman.
Police allege the incidents occurred between January of 2016 and this past Dec. 6. The suspect and the victims know each other.
On Dec. 8, the man was arrested and charged with sexual assault, assault, obtaining sexual services from a minor, sexual assault with a weapon and sexual interference.
The man will remain in custody until his next court appearance on Jan. 13.
