More than 100 students at Marion M. Graham Collegiate are in isolation.
Saskatoon Public Schools spokesperson Veronica Baker confirmed 107 students at the high school were under isolation orders from the Saskatchewan Health Authority due to COVID-19 concerns.
There wasn’t any indication of what grades the students are in or how many confirmed cases are at the school, but Baker said four classrooms are isolating at home.
That amounts to nearly a fifth of the 599 students enrolled at the school being away from classrooms Friday.
Last week, the SHA updated its classroom protocols concerning COVID-19 cases discovered in the classroom. All students in the classroom are now considered close contacts and will have to isolate instead of health officials determining which contacts were close to the affected person.
Marion M. Graham remains open while all other classes run as scheduled.
All students isolating at home will attend class online during the isolation period.
