8:30 – Saskatchewan has been hit badly this week by both snow and COVID-19. John brings you up to speed on the two wars our province is currently waging, and shares his take.
9:00 – Opposition MPs in Ottawa are still working to get more information about ties between Prime Minister Trudeau and his family, and the WE Charity organization. That got a lot harder when they learned that years’ worth of records were destroyed by Speakers’ Spotlight Toronto, the talent agency that arranged speaking appearances for Trudeau. Conservative MP Michael Barrett, who sits on the committee that ordered those documents, said Speakers’ Spotlight was granted an extension to prepare the documents for the committee, but Trudeau prorogued Parliament before they were delivered. Tom Korski is the managing editor of Blacklock’s Reporter, and he joins John to bring us up to speed on the WE Charity investigation.

The aim of the book was to document the election to inform current understanding of what unfolded and to create a record for future scholarship. Dr. Loleen Berdahl, Head of Political Studies at the University of Saskatchewan, is one of the book’s editors, and she joins Gormley to tell us about the project.

11:00 – Saskatchewan saw a huge dump of snow over the weekend, and many people found their vehicles inadequate for the conditions. While winter tires can be a headache and a hit to the wallet, they definitely make your morning commute easier, especially when Saskatchewan weather hits hard. To tell us about the benefits of winter tires, and some of the different varieties available, John is joined by Rod Janzen with OK Tire. Do you think Saskatchewan should join Quebec in mandating winter tires during the cold season? Give John a call at 1-877-332-8255 and join the conversation!
