A second COVID-19 case has been identified in an individual at Holy Family Catholic School in Saskatoon.
The Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division (GSCS) announced the positive case Tuesday evening, adding that this is the second active case in the same classroom at the school.
Because it’s the second case, GSCS said the Saskatchewan Health Authority has declared an outbreak.
The affected classroom did switch to online learning following the first case of COVID-19.
In-person classes will continue as scheduled for the rest of the school.
To protect the privacy of individuals, the division said it is not able to share or discuss any further details.
