COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed at three more public schools in Regina, but classes will continue as planned at all three facilities.
In a media release Tuesday, Regina Public Schools said individual cases had been identified at Campbell Collegiate and two elementary schools — The Crescents School and Walker School.
“There are no closures or cancellations as a result of these cases,” the release said. “All school families have been contacted with information and instructions related to self-isolation if they are considered a close contact, or self-monitoring if they are not close contacts.”
As well, the school division said the closure of Lakeview School announced Monday had been updated. Remote learning is to begin Friday, with in-person classes to resume Nov. 23.
“Regina Public Schools is working closely with Public Health staff to ensure necessary measures are in place to protect all students,” the release said.
Everyone entering the division’s schools is reminded to watch for symptoms and to complete the Daily Self-Assessment Checklist each day.
