There were 74 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan on Monday.
The total number of cases in the province since March now stands at 3,292.
New cases also were reported Monday in the north-central (22), Regina (14), Saskatoon (18), northeast (one), central-east (one), far northwest (one), northwest (five), and central-west (one).
The total number of cases in the Saskatoon area now stands at 845, with 671 cases reported so far in the north zone (204 northwest, 328 north-central, 139 northeast).
There also have been 504 cases in the south area (230 southwest, 215 south-central, 59 southeast), 446 in the far north (392 far northwest, 54 far northeast), 385 from the central zone (197 central-west, 188 central-east) and 428 in the Regina region.
There were 11 cases reported that have pending residence locations. One case from the Oct. 21 report has been re-assigned to the northwest zone.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority has established a drive-through testing site in Yorkton. It will be located at 276 Myrtle Ave. and will run Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The number of active cases being reported in Saskatchewan is now 858, with 292 of those in the Saskatoon area.
There were 14 recoveries reported Monday, increasing that total so far to 2,409. To date, there have been 25 COVID-related deaths in the province.
There are 34 people in Saskatchewan hospitals, with seven in intensive care. That includes four people in Saskatoon, two in the north-central zone and one in Regina.
Of the 27 people receiving inpatient care in Saskatchewan, 11 are in the Saskatoon area, six are in the Regina region, two in the northwest zone, seven are in the north-central zone, and one is in the northeast area.
The number of health-care workers to contract COVID so far stands at 101.
The total caseload in the province comprises 1,581 community contacts, 801 cases without any known exposures, 539 cases that are being investigated, and 371 travellers.
At the start of October, there were 627 cases among those aged 20 to 39. As of Monday, that number stood at 1,207.
There also have been 929 cases in the 40-to-59 age range, 661 involving people 19 and under, 412 between the ages of 60 and 79, and 83 in the 80-and-over range.
The 2,363 tests done Thursday increased the provincial total to date to 268,166.
