The University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Polytechnic will both continue to primarily offer online, remote learning into the winter term.
A statement on the U of S webpage says: “USask is planning for a continued hybrid approach to program delivery in which course delivery will be primarily remote online learning with extremely limited in-person instruction” for the winter 2021 term.
Saskatchewan Polytechnic has a similar message on its webpage.
“Saskatchewan Polytechnic, in alignment with the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan, will continue to provide its programs via a two-pronged approach to education delivery for the winter term,” it says.
It goes on to say: “For continued campus safety, our students and employees will continue to work and learn from home for the winter academic term that will begin in January, 2021.”
In May, Saskatchewan post-secondary education institutions announced that, due to COVID-19, learning would be primarily online for the fall term that got underway earlier this month.
The University of Regina also has announced that students will learn remotely in the winter semester.
