Wide-spread frost is expected across Saskatchewan Monday night as a ridge of high pressure builds throughout the province.
Cool temperatures will continue on Tuesday, before a warming trend through the latter half of the week.
Environment Canada is reminding those in the advisory area to cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.
Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
The advisory is in effect for the Meadow Lake, Prince Albert, Melfort and Hudson Bay regions, then running south to the U.S. border.
It includes the cities of Saskatoon, Regina, North Battleford, Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Weyburn and Estevan.
