The Saskatoon police are searching for three suspects in connection to a violent assault early Monday morning.
Police received a call of an injured man on Monday at 1:34 a.m., in the Nutana Park area.
Officers arrived and found a 29 year old male victim suffering from a head injury.
The victim said he was having a cigarette when he was approached by approximately 10 males, all who are believed to be between the ages of 16-20.
Police said two men from the group became aggressive with the victim and started assaulting him. A third male suspect took out a knife, but did not harm the victim. They then stole his wallet.
The suspects are not known to the victim.
Police were unsuccessful in locating the suspects.
The victim was brought to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
