The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is letting the public know about COVID-19 exposures at multiple Prince Albert businesses.
According to a media release, the SHA is notifying the public that an individual who tested COVID-19 positive visited the following businesses in Prince Albert when he or she was likely infectious:
- Aug. 22 – Walmart, Cornerstone, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Aug. 22 – Original Joe’s, Cornerstone, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Aug. 23 – Mr. Mike’s, Cornerstone, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Aug. 26 – Real Canadian Superstore, from noon to 12:45 p.m.
Public health officials are advising individuals who were at these locations on the specified dates during the specified times to immediately self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing.
All other individuals who are not experiencing symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days. It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
