Environment Canada has confirmed a second tornado touched down during a storm Aug. 21.
In a tweet, it says in addition to the confirmed tornado near Fulda (previously Lake Lenore), a second tornado has been identified north of Humboldt.
In collaboration with the Northern Tornadoes Project, the tornado has been given an EF-0 rating.
The tweet goes on to say it was considered to be a landspout tornado that was generated by weak rotation under rapidly growing clouds or weak thunderstorms.
Another 🌪️ has been identified, after collaboration with @westernuNTP, from the storms in #SK last Friday, August 21.
