The Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public about a possible COVID-19 exposure in Turtleford.
It says the risk of transmission is considered low but is advising people who have been to the SARCAN on 3rd Avenue South between Aug. 4-6 to self-monitor for symptoms.
Some of the symptoms could include fever, cough, trouble breathing, among others.
Visitors should self-monitor for 14 days from the last date they were at the depot. They should also seek a testing referral by calling HealthLine 811 if they experience symptoms.
In a news release from SARCAN on Sunday, the company said it was an employee who recently tested positive and was presumed to be symptomatic between the aforementioned dates.
SARCAN has temporarily closed the location until Aug. 20 at the earliest and only if no other workers test positive.
The depot will also undergo deep cleaning and disinfection of customer areas, work areas and common spaces, SARCAN said.
