The University of Saskatchewan is implementing mandatory masks on its Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert campuses.
Starting Aug. 24 anyone given access to indoor common or shared spaces will have to wear a mask.
It includes faculty, staff, students and visitors.
In a media release, the university said people must wear masks in hallways, lobbies, libraries, classrooms, labs, study spaces, elevators and anywhere that physical distance can’t be guaranteed.
University buildings remain closed unless people are required to be there or have special permission.
