Saskatchewan RCMP is detailing a crime spree that left a trail of injured people and stolen vehicles in and around Lloydminster.
In a release on Friday, Onion Lake RCMP said they responded Wednesday to a report of a man being shot, putting him in critical condition in a nearby hospital.
The suspects allegedly fled in a vehicle before RCMP could arrive.
The vehicle the suspects were using was found in Lloydminster after they crashed into another vehicle in the community, RCMP said. One of the suspects then allegedly shot at someone before the victim could flee to safety.
RCMP allege the two of the suspects then assaulted another victim and stole their truck. That truck was located east of Lloydminster by responding officers, but they were unable to pull them over.
Later in the evening, Maidstone RCMP received a report of a third truck being stolen near Highway 16 and Highway junction 303, which was later recovered in Lloydminster. A female suspect was arrested in the area.
It wasn’t until an hour later that Maidstone RCMP received a report of a truck carrying the other two suspects was found near Hillmond, Sask.
The two men were arrested nearby on foot.
A 33-year-old woman and two men aged 21 and 24 face over a dozen charges, including:
- Theft of truck
- Robbery using a firearm
- Discharge of a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Assault
- Uttering threats

The three accused will be appearing in North Battleford Provincial Court on Aug. 4, 2020.
