The Saskatchewan Health Authority said Friday a person who later tested positive for COVID-19 visited two Regina businesses on July 6 — including Costco.
In a media release, the SHA issued an advisory saying the person visited Costco on July 6 between 3 and 4 p.m. That came after the person had made a stop at the KFC at 3998 Albert St. South between noon and 2 p.m.
The SHA said the person visited the two businesses “during the time when they were likely infectious with COVID-19.”
Anyone who visited those businesses during those times is being urged to self-monitor for symptoms during the 14-day period after their visit or to ask for a testing referral by calling HealthLine 811.
COVID-19 testing is available to anyone in the province whether they have symptoms or not.
The SHA once again urged residents to practise physical distancing, to wash their hands frequently and to follow public health orders regarding group sizes.
