An employee at the Rona Home and Garden store in Saskatoon has tested positive for COVID-19, according to its website.
On the website, the parent company says an employee at the Preston Avenue store last worked on July 3.
It says the company was made aware of the diagnosis last Friday, and then “proceeded to do an extensive cleaning and disinfection” of the store on Saturday.
According to the website, local public health authorities were notified of the situation and of the measures taken at the store.
Rona’s parent company Lowe’s said it is encouraging customers who visited the store between June 29 and July 3, inclusive, to monitor for symptoms until Friday inclusive (for those who visited the store on July 3), and contact HealthLine 811 if needed.
This comes nearly a week after it was learned an employee at the Canadian Brewhouse Pub and Restaurant in Stonebridge tested positive for COVID-19.
