From late Friday to early Saturday morning Saskatoon police responded to break-ins, a stabbing and shooting.
It started with a disturbance call at 11:38 p.m. on the 200 block of Avenue K South.
Officers found a 23-year-old man with several stab wounds.
Paramedics transported him to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to look for the suspect who is known to the victim, according to a media release.
Break-in and assault
At 11:46 p.m. officers responded to a home on the 1200 block of Avenue H North for a reported robbery.
A 45-year-old man went to the home after getting a call from his security company.
Three men were inside the house when he arrived, according to police.
The homeowner was assaulted and robbed–suffering minor injuries.
Police believe the suspects and victim know each other.
Weapons call
At 12:21 a.m. police were called to the 100 block of Ruth Street East for reports of a gun fired at a parked car.
Three adults in a vehicle told officers someone had shot at the car from the back of a sedan as it drove by before turning onto Vernon Avenue.
Two vehicles were damaged.
Witnesses describe the sedan involved as a dark grey older style 4-door.
Attempted break-in
Saskatoon police are looking for a man in an attempted break-in on the 800 block of 33rd Street East.
At 3:22 a.m. officers arrived at the home, where the owner said they confronted a man trying to break in and had a handgun pointed at them.
The suspect, wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans, ran from the scene.
The K-9 unit attempted to locate the man, but believe he likely got into a vehicle.
