An early morning two-vehicle crash Thursday on Highway 11 near Bethune sent six people to hospital.
Lumsden RCMP say at around 5:45 a.m., a pickup truck coming off a grid road collided with a small passenger bus which was travelling on Highway 11 from Regina to Saskatoon.
The bus was carrying four passengers and a driver.
The collision caused the bus to roll and one person was ejected from the vehicle. The remaining occupants of the bus were able to get out and the bus caught on fire shortly after.
The Bethune Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.
Four occupants of the bus and the two occupants of the pickup truck were transported by EMS to hospital in Regina.
The highway had been closed down for the investigation, but has since reopened.
RCMP say alcohol does not appear to be a factor, and the investigation is ongoing.
