SaskTel email customers might have been getting more spam emails than usual of late.
The Crown corporation confirms users of its email service have been registering complaints about an increase in bogus mail.
In an email to 980 CJME on Monday, SaskTel said it’s trying to fix the problem.
“SaskTel is diligently working to enhance our spam filters to help prevent these annoying messages from reaching our customers,” communications manager Greg Jacobs said.
In the meantime, he suggested a fix people can do themselves.
“While we work to enhance our filters, customers can also take steps to help prevent these messages from reaching their inbox by updating their own spam filters and setting the filter option to ‘aggressive,’” he explained.
