An investigation is underway after a stabbing involving a 22-year-old woman and 21-year-old man was reported early Monday morning.
Saskatoon police responded to the 800 block of Fourth Avenue North where they found multiple people in the residence.
Officers then learned that an altercation had taken place between two men and one woman who were all known to each other. All three were stabbed.
A 27-year-old man was struck in the head with a baseball bat.
At approximately 5:15 a.m., patrol members responded to a reported injured person at a park in the 100 block of Research Road. The 27-year-old man was located in the park and transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. He is facing two counts of aggravated assault.
The man and woman were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
