It was a busy Saturday night for Saskatoon police.
Within two and a half hours, officers caught two motorists in separate incidents, excessively speeding.
The first incident was on 8th Street East near Briargate Road. A 28-year-old Saskatoon man was clocked on a motorcycle at a speed of 125 km/h in a 60 km/h speed zone at around 5:20 p.m.
He was issued a $966 ticket, had his vehicle impounded for seven days, his license suspended for three days and a full mechanical inspection was ordered on his motorcycle.
Just before 8 p.m. Saturday, police nabbed another Saskatoon man for speeding on the Broadway Bridge coming into downtown.

A patrol officer clocked the vehicle at a speed of 104 km/h in a 50 km/h speed zone.
The 30-year-old was issued an $843 ticket and had his vehicle impounded for seven days.
Police would like to remind motorists to obey the traffic last and arrive at their destination safely.
