A contractor has demolished 317 Avenue P South after a second intentional set fire at the property.
Saskatoon firefighters responded to the boarded-up home at 3:24 Friday afternoon for a small fire at the back of the house.
Crews quickly extinguished the blaze.
It’s difficult to establish how much damage it caused because of a fire there last month.
On Good Friday, firefighters were called to the Pleasant Hill home around 11 p.m. where they found flames shooting out of the back and heavy black smoke billowing overhead.
Because of the damage, the property owner agreed to demolish the house ahead of the June 24 deadline set by the fire department.
A contractor completed the demolition by 6:40 p.m. Friday.
A fence will surround the property until debris is cleared and levelling is completed.
