8:30 – Saskatchewan’s Justice Minister Don Morgan opposed the federal calls for bans on “assault-type firearms” when the idea was first put forward, saying there were better ways to reduce firearm crime and calling for Trudeau to reconsider his bans in favour of a more collaborative approach with the provinces. Now that the bans have taken effect, Morgan joins Gormley to discuss the Saskatchewan Government’s position and whether he’s concerned the bans will have a negative impact on Saskatchewan.
