The time has expired on free parking in Saskatoon.
As of today, pay parking, on-street parking limits and enforcement are back in effect across the city.
Pay parking was suspended back in March as relief measure during the COVID-19 pandemic. The city estimates it lost roughly $2-million in revenue.
The City encourages customers to use the WayToPark app as a no-touch way to pay for parking. For those using the pay stations, the city asks people to wash or sanitize hands immediately afterwards.
Residents in zones under the Residential Parking Program (RPP) are asked to use their expired permits until new ones are issued. The city is also honouring expired permits for people with a disability.
People without an existing permit can contact the city at revenue@saskatoon.ca or 306-975-2400 to arrange for a temporary permit.
