An arrest warrant has been issued for a man wanted in connection with a murder in North Battleford.
The Saskatchewan RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding Michael Jordan White, a 32-year-old from the Sweetgrass First Nation.
The Mounties say White is wanted for second-degree murder in the death of 38-year-old Todd Levi Stone.
On May 12, the Battlefords RCMP was told by paramedics that a man had been found with significant head trauma in a house in North Battleford. He was taken to hospital in Saskatoon for treatment, but died May 13.
Police learned the victim had been in an altercation with another man earlier on May 12. An autopsy completed Tuesday determined Stone had been murdered.
White is described as being 5-foot-7 and approximately 180 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. Police believe he may be in Lloydminster, Alta.
Anyone with information about the altercation or White’s whereabouts is asked to call the Battlefords RCMP at 1-306-446-1720, their local police service or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
