A man drove himself to the hospital after being stabbed in the hand in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood Saturday evening.
The 56-year-old waved down a police near 21st street and Avenue S.
The man had been stabbed in the hand and was in the process of driving himself to the hospital. He then insisted on continuing to drive himself to the hospital.
Officers located the residence on the 200 block of Avenue S where the incident occurred.
Upon arrival, a suspect attempted to flee but was quickly arrested without incident.
The 40-year-old suspect is facing a charge of aggravated assault and also had a previous warrant for his arrest for assault with a weapon.
The suspect, who is believed to be known by the victim, will be seen by a Justice of the Peace on Sunday.
