What went wrong at the World Juniors for Team Canada
Jan 04, 2025
AJ Jacubec said roster, coaching and penalties held Canada back at the World Juniors.
Potash workers at the Lanigan mine were treated with Christmas cheer Thursday morning.
Lanigan was supposed to be shut down for six weeks beginning in January, but that’s no longer the case.
It will be deferred to later in the summer and perhaps be part of the annual maintenance shutdown.
PotashCorp officials called it an inventory management issue.
About one-quarter of the workforce would have been affected.
The shutdown at Allan will still proceed for a 12 week period beginning in February.
