Police have laid charges in connection with the shooting incident at Hudsons on Tuesday night.
Tyrell Davey, 25, is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm and ammunition contrary to an order, and discharging a firearm with intent.
He also faces charges of theft under $5,000, unauthorized possession in a motor vehicle and possession of a weapon obtained by commission of an offence.
Court documents allege Davey stole the rifle involved in the Hudsons incident.
A Facebook account purportedly belonging to Davey features a Monday status asking if anyone would be “hurt seeing me lying peacefully in a casket.”
Police said they would be going through social media accounts to try and find motive for the incident.
Officers were called to Hudsons on 21st Street before midnight Tuesday after a man walked into the bar and fired a gun.
Three friends from Prince Albert who were in Saskatoon for a stag party stopped the man and held him until police arrived.
Davey is also facing charges of assault and mischief stemming from a Jan. 10 incident at a McDonalds.
He is due to be back in court Monday for a bail hearing.
