A large cache of weapons and ammunition was seized by police Friday after a search of a home in Creighton.
Members of the Prince Albert General Investigation Section (GIS) and Creighton RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in the northern Saskatchewan town.
Among the items officers found were 13 non-restricted firearms, two prohibited firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, two explosive detonator cords, a conducted energy weapon, three prohibited knives and a homemade firearm suppressor.
A 30-year-old man was charged with multiple firearms- and weapons-related offences, including the unauthorized importation of a prohibited device, possession of prohibited firearms, and possession of prohibited weapons.
He was released from custody on an undertaking with conditions to appear in Creighton Provincial Court on April 14.
