Woman in critical condition after highway crash involving semi during storm

A crash involving a semi on Highway 16 near Lashburn during a snowstorm Saturday evening has left a 35-year-old woman in critical condition.
Two drivers were standing outside their vehicles to exchange information after being involved in a collision when a semi attempted to swerve around the collision scene.
The semi hit both vehicles and one of the drivers who was standing on the road.
The woman was taken to hospital in Lloydminster and then airlifted to Edmonton the next day. She is in critical condition.
There weren’t any other reports of injuries.
The Mounties said visibility was near zero at the time of the collision, with high winds and heavy snow.
The RCMP says there haven’t been any charges laid but the investigation is ongoing.
