A fire that broke out at a tire recycling facility north of Saskatoon is now under control.
Saskatoon fire crews with the assistance of the Martensville department responded just before 6:30 a.m. Friday.
A Shercom Industries spokesperson said the fire was contained to a tire shred pile outside the facility.
Smoke and fire could be seen from Highway 11 when the blaze was at its peak.

By 8:30 a.m. the fire was under control, but a tanker truck continued to pour water on the fire to smother the remaining embers.
The fire department said nobody was injured.
A cause has not been determined.
The company was the victim of a fire at a different location in April 2016.
