A man and a woman in northern Saskatchewan who were reported missing earlier this week have been found dead.
RCMP say divers have recovered the body of the 55-year-old woman inside a truck that was submerged in the Canoe River.
The discovery came after the 53-year-old man was found dead in the river, outside the truck, late Wednesday.
The pair both from Beauval were reported missing around 9;30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mounties say they had received a report late Tuesday morning of a possible vehicle in the river near kilometre 130 on Highway 155, where a large hole was found in the ice.
There’s no word on what led to the deaths, but police say there is no indication of criminal involvement.
