Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach Craig Dickenson announced the majority of his coaching staff Monday.
On the offensive side of the ball, Jason Maas takes over as offensive co-ordinator, Tim Prinsen joins the staff as the running backs coach and Josh Lambert becomes an offensive assistant.
Prinsen spent the previous three seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos, working on Maas’ staff. Lambert previously was the offensive co-ordinator at Acadia University.
Travis Moore returns for his third season as the Roughriders’ receivers coach and Stephen Sorrells is back for his fourth campaign as the offensive line coach.
On defence, Jason Shivers is back for his second season as defensive co-ordinator and Richard Kent returns as the team’s defensive backs coach.
Deion Melvin becomes Saskatchewan’s linebackers coach after a stint with the Western Illinois University Leathernecks.
The Roughriders are still in the process of hiring a defensive line coach.
Kent Maugeri, who was the Roughriders’ running backs coach for the previous three seasons, moves to special teams. He’ll assist Dickenson, who will remain the special-teams co-ordinator.
