Extreme cold warnings return to Saskatchewan

Environment Canada has issued extreme cold weather warnings for much of southern Saskatchewan Friday.

Around 3:42 p.m. Environment Canada issued warnings in areas ranging from the Battlefords in the north to Shaunavon in the south.

Saskatoon, Humboldt, Yorkton, and Kindersley are included in the warnings that blanket southern Saskatchewan and parts of central Saskatchewan.

Windchill values of -40 C or lower overnight into Saturday morning are expected.. Windchill values will moderate during the day on Saturday, according to Environment Canada.
