Last Friday in this space, I said that the first and the last NFL wild-card games would be the toughest to pick. Those are the two games that I got right.
So I’m 2-for-4 going into the divisional playoffs. I’m going to play the percentages.
Take the Niners. San Francisco has lost just twice at home this season as it gets ready for a Minnesota team that needed to empty the tank in overtime to beat New Orleans.
Green Bay is at home to Seattle in what I think is the matchup of the weekend. A rested Aaron Rodgers is tough to beat at Lambeau.
In the AFC games, the threat of Lamar Jackson’s legs will be too much for Tennessee’s defence. I also like K.C. at home against the Texans. Patrick Mahomes had an incredible touchdown-to-interception ratio of 26-to-5 in the regular season.
The Niners, Packers, Ravens and Chiefs will be the NFL’s final four. (Take it from a guy who went .500 last week.)
