Students at Holy Cross High School are getting a mini holiday break on the last week of classes after a water main break shut down classes on Wednesday afternoon.
Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools confirmed classes would also be cancelled on Thursday as city crews worked to repair the main and restore water service to the school.
A letter sent to parents indicated a senior boy’s basketball home game scheduled for Thursday would be moved to Bishop James Mahoney, while a Blue Boys Premier League game was postponed.
The letter indicated city crews were confident service would be restored in time for classes to resume on Friday — the last scheduled day for classes before the two week Christmas holiday break.
Classes at Holy Cross High School are cancelled for Thursday, Dec 19 because of a water-main break in the area.
It's anticipate water service will be restored Thursday afternoon, and classes will resume on Friday.
