10:00 – Wexit Saskatchewan, a group in favour of western separation from Canada, is holding a drive to gather signatures from supporters. The hope is that enough signatures would give them leverage over Premier Scott Moe and force a referendum on separation. If Moe doesn’t agree, they’ve promised to form their own provincial Wexit party. While they’ve already collected a number of signatures, some locations have barred them from their property and one mall in Saskatoon has even pledged to hire extra security to keep them away. Eric Wall is an organizer with Wexit Saskatchewan, and he joins Gormley to discuss the separatist movement in Saskatchewan and their current goals.
